The use of WordPress can make websites a bit slower than those run on static HTML due to its large number of small elements that all need to be loaded individually from a remote server, causing a delay in page load times.

As the core web vitals are now a ranking factor, it is important to load the website as fast as possible. You can achieve this using the Wp-rocket plugin.
